Absolutle perfection. Realistic relic is an understatment. There is true artistry involved. It is not a cheap looking plastic pickguard. Definitely reccomend.

Quality work, worth waiting for

When I bought my Fender 63 Telecaster, I was looking for a new mint green pickguard because the mint green pickguard that came with it was a bit odd.

I searched for hours but couldn't find a vintage type mint green pickguard, and was about to give up.

I found this 1960's Frusciante "F" Pickguard in Mint for sale at Realistic Relics and I loved the color and design so much I bought it right away.

After actual use, I would like to write a review. It is a custom shop guitar with some relics and the color and combination are great.

As the product description says, the 'F' pattern is engraved very naturally, and it doesn't feel awkward to the touch and is perfect visually.

I was just storing the guitar until the pickguard came, but after replacing the pickguard, I kept reaching for the guitar.

Since the NOS type V2 version pickguard has been released, if you own a custom shop Telecaster that matches the mint green, I highly recommend purchasing it.

After a long wait, Quinton delivered with a quality product. This is my second order from Realistic Relic’s and they have both been excellent and worth the wait. If you’re not in a hurry I highly recommend Quinton and Realistic Relic’s.

Well worth the wait. Definitively a credible ungrade.

VOS • 1954/1955 Strat® Full Accessory Kit (Bakelite Style)

I have had 3 guards - spectacularly good !

The knobs, covers and tips exceeded all expectations. I also received a’64 VOS mint pickguard and the knobs and covers look great on the mint guard. The order took longer than I anticipated, but quality is worth waiting on. I liked the quality of the product so much I ordered a light aged mint guard for my Telecaster.

This color and aging authenticity did not disappoint…highly recommend this product

Absolutely loved it! I love that you guys can do the custom stamped serial numbers. Thank you! The bridge was great but I do have some feedback. It would be really helpful if you guys had some reference photos to help judge what level of aging to choose from before buying. I chose “light” aging because I was afraid the heavy would be too much. To anyone reading this review, The light aging is very light to almost no aging. It was very lightly scuffed along the top of the pickup area and had very subtle amounts of gunk built up around the pickup and mounting holes. If you’re looking to do a relic’d build, I would definitely lean more toward the “heavy” option if you’re not comfortable aging them yourself. Again, thank you guys. This will work perfectly for my 53’ build.

Great parts carefully aged and beautiful. Makes great replacements for vintage guitars or modern ones getting that aged look we all know and love. There is a reason for relic guitars and having parts look right…. These folks know how to do parts correct.
