Finally my Relic that that authentic vibe!

Got tired of the scratched (not oxidized) screws that came with my ‘54 Strat Relic. You’d think that the Fender Custom Shop would get it right after 30 years of Relic building experience. Every 70 year old Fender that I’ve seen up close looks dull or black oxidized, while some areas were heavily rusted. They’re screws looks like they were tumbled in gravel. I’m so glad I found RR parts to transform my 50’s Strat into what it should have looked like when it left the shop.

Original Green Guards can discolor in all sorts of unique ways, and generally it's not perfectly uniform like you'll see on many relic pickguards.. This is an example of our color tinting process where we selectively chose which areas to add heavier discoloring for a truly realistic material level finish.
