The 1954 Fender Stratocaster was initially built in a small batch of around 100 hand made prototypes. They were estimated to be built in January - March 1954 with serial numbers ranging from approximately 0035 - 0213. These serial numbers were stamped into the back tremolo covers, and featured a unique font style not used by Fender for any markings at the time other than on this specific part. These have never been reissued before since no one was able to locate the original stamps, until now!

Realistic Relics brings you a reissue 1954 Tremolo Cover stamped using the Original 1950's Stamps that were used on these Early Stratocaster Prototypes. These stamps are not replicas, they are the exact ones used by Fender in 1954 (verified by multiple sources and photo comparisons). We’ve limited the first framed run to only 20 pieces worldwide, a truly unique Collectors Item. Fender has since made anniversary models of the 1954 Strat, some including stamped plastic tremolo covers / back plates, but they incorrectly stamp them with the wrong font due to the fact that the original stamps are so unique an incredibly hard to find, especially in the right sizing.
