If you have seen the Gibson Custom Shop Screws, you'll know they tend to have a yellow/orange tint and they're still quite shiny.. this is because they dab a chemical onto a batch of screws which results in over rusting in some spots and the other spots of the screws that aren't touched by the chemical remain as new.
We take a different approach, with an emphasis on variation, just like Original Screws.
Our Aged screws vary between dull, blackened & lightly rusted, they still retain a slight shine since they're not over exposed to chemicals, keeping a realistic aesthetic regardless of how small the part is. Upgrade your reissues, or replace originals with confidence!

Aging Details
Aging Details
Our Aged screws are not simply treated with chemicals and then resold as "Aged". Screws that have been chemiccally agedd tend to over rust, turn strange colors from the chemical reaction, or expose a copper undertone under the plating. Creating an un natural look. And even when it's done tastefully, they still all look the same, just a dull grey finish.
Real Vintage screws have character and variances. They tend to oxidize and darken with age, in many different shades from lightly oxidized to black, etc.
We approach our screws in the same way. Our screws show a range of varying shades, with patina, dirt build up, and a realistic oxidization.
Regardless of how big or small the part is, we take pride in our Aging and demand realism in all aspects.
